LÁZÁR EQUESTRIAN PARK

In the heart of the Gödöllő Hills, in Domony Valley guests can visit the Lázár Equestrian Park, not more than 35 km far from Budapest.

The park was established by the world champions in carriage riding, the Lázár borthers. The best traditions of horsemanship and hospitality, excellent horse shows, picturesque environment, extraordinary culinary experiences - that's what a day in Lázár Equestrian Park offers.

Guests are greeted by rangemen who accompany them to the inn's yard and fresh-made biscuits and the famous Hungarian "pálinka" (brandy), mineral water are served.

The horse show includes: four-hand driving, pony carriage driving, rangemen's stunts (making the horse lie down and sit, whip snapping, rangemen's competition), ox-drawn wagon, humorous show with trained donkey, Hungarian Post with eight horses, fun competition with guests.

At the end of the show guests can ride on horseback, in carriage.

A walk in a Hungarian village yard after the show, where guests can become familiar with ancient Hungarian domestic livestock breeds (the puli dog, the long-wooled sheep, gray ox, etc).

An outstanding lunch is also recommended to experience not only the special Hungarian hospitality, but the fiery tastes of traditional Hungarian cuisine.

A perfect program combination is to connect this day with a visit of the Royal Palace of Gödöllő, located five km away from the Equestrian Park.
