On the left side of the Danube, in the heart of the country, between the rivers Danube and Tisza, the largest unbroken geographical region of Hungary, lies Solt-Révbérpuszta, the gate to the Great Hungarian Plain. Solt-Révbér Equestrian Center and Historical Memorial Park is 85 km far from Budapest, close to Dunaföldvár's Danube bridge.
Amusement rich in experience and spectacle, that's what this day offers for visitors. Upon arrival welcome with hot "langosh" (baked-in-oven griddlecake) with sour cream and brandy.
During the horse carriage in the puszta guest can enjoy the beauties of the area: the bank of the river Danube, swallow's nests and the shepherd's buildings. While carriage drivers are watering the horses, guests can take a look at the lock of "racka" and the herd of grey cattle.
The house and yard of the handicraft host artists of folk handicraft. It is an exciting journey into the time to see the shoeing-smith's show, straw plaiting, carpet weaving, basket weaving, and potter's show.
The horse show gives a glimpse into the horseman tradition dating back to centuries, how much the man of the Puszta loved the horse and the virtuosity of the horseman (rider competitions, attraction of Koch-five, etc.) After the show there is possibility to ride or drive a carriage.
On request, a traditional lunch can be served, to taste delicious food, the excellent Hungarian wines of Hungary.
The program takes about 2-2,5 hours without meals.
